The most common question in our last cohort of the MGMT Accelerator:

How should I be using AI to lead my team?

There is no right answer. Other than you just need to start. Let us help:

Anyone who signs up will get the recording even if you can’t attend live.

What do people value most? Their time.
Yet most of us systematically waste it at work.

Here's a simple way to measure—and fix—this waste.

The Good Time Index

Good Time is:
↳ The craft you were hired for.
↳ Work that moves the mission forward.
↳ Tasks executed efficiently.

Bad Time is:
↳ Unnecessary overhead.
↳ Administrative drag.
↳ Inefficient processes.

Run Your Audit:

  1. Track one full day in 30-minute blocks.

  2. For each block, ask three questions:

    • Is this aligned to my priorities?

    • Could it have been delegated?

    • Did I do execute efficiently?

  3. Mark each block Good/Bad based on answers.

  4. Calculate your Good Time percentage (Target: 80%+)

Fix Your Bad Time:

For each Bad Time block, choose one action:
Eliminate (Stop doing it)
Automate (Build a system)
Delegate (Find an owner)
Streamline (Make it efficient)

Leveraging AI: Your Time Optimization Co-Pilot

Here's how to use AI to amplify your Good Time:

Pattern Analysis

📌 Prompt: "Analyze my Good Time vs Bad Time data. Look for:

  • Hidden patterns in my Bad Time activities

  • Opportunities for automation

  • Tasks that could be eliminated or consolidated

Here's my data: [paste your time log]"

Automation Opportunities

📌 Prompt: "Based on my Bad Time patterns:

  • Which tasks appear repeatedly?

  • What could be templated or automated?

  • Which tools could help?

Here's my data: [paste multiple audit logs]"

Automation Planning

📌 Prompt: "I spend [X minutes] on [task]. Help me:

  • Identify parts that could be automated

  • Suggest specific tools or approaches

  • Create a step-by-step implementation plan

Here is a copy of the SOP for that process [paste PDF of process]"

You might think you’re using your time well.

But tracking one day front-to-back will be eye-opening.

And letting AI see the patterns over time and hold you accountable:

That could be game-changing.
